Sol de Mallorca is a peaceful residential neighbourhood in the south-west municipality of Calvià, Mallorca. It is located between the small coastal resorts of Cala Vinyes and Portals Vells. Created in the mid-70s, it once attracted many to its glamorous Grand Casino overlooking the sea. Today it appeals to an international mix of families and holiday home owners.

An independent supermarket caters to residents in the area and opens every day for maximum convenience. Large supermarket chains, high street and designer brands, home and decor stores and boutiques can all be located within the Calvià municipality a ten to fifteen minute drive away.

If you're dreaming of seafood and cocktails, then choose Cala Cap Falcó, east of Bella Donna. Here you'll find the popular beachside restaurant with the same name. The nudist bay of Cala Mago and the bay at Portals Vells also have restaurants and are walking distance from each other.
